Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed  contract and 50% deposit are required. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit will be put toward the client’s total wedding day balance if the client chooses wedding day services. The remaining balance will be due the day of service upon completion. Please note that bridal consultations and deposit fees are two separate costs.

TRIAL / CONSULTATIONS: Consultations are available for brides as well as their bridal party members. I recommend that additional consultations should be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s consultation in order to avoid an additional travel fee. 

LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist DanahMarieBeauty and associates from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Also due to this clause, I am not able to tweeze or razor eyebrows. Please arrive at our glam session with a makeup free face.

DELAYS:  A schedule can be created for the day, and will send this by email to the Bride for review. I can/will work with your hair stylist in coordinating the schedule. The list of girls receiving services is due two weeks before your wedding. Please include full name & all services needed. Timing is important so i've found the best way to avoid delays is choosing one glam that all your bridesmaid will love ensures faster application.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgement by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction. 

PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred. This amount will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event. 

TRAVEL FEES: Travel within 10-15 miles is free of charge. a $35 travel fee will be charge for locations outside of the 15 mile radius. Toll fees incurred are also added to the balance. Travel fees apply for all pre-event makeup consultations as well as day-of appointments. 

PAYMENT: The final balance is due on or before the day of the event before the makeup artist departs. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract. Please write the names of each bridal party member on separate envelopes with the remaining balance inside of the envelope. 

This ensures a quick and seamless wrap up of services.

SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE: Photos taken at the trial or your professional photos may be used as examples of my work for future clients to view. Your photographer will receive proper credit for their work. You agree to DanahMarieBeauty using these photos, as well as give consent to using your professional photos on my website/portfolio/social media. I will email you to request these photos and will also reach out to your photographer.

SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS: The location of makeup services for the day-of-event will be at the Bride’s discretion, but there are certain requirements the artist will need to complete the services. A set-up table/work area/trashcan/outlet if using airbrush will need to be made available for the Makeup Artist. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. Artist will arrive 30 minutes prior to set-up. Please send the hotel room number the night before the wedding. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Your booking is a reserved spot. If you decide to cancel your wedding day services, you will not receive a refund of your deposit. If you cancel with less than one week before your wedding, you will not receive back the deposit or final payment. All cancellations must be submitted communicated in written form either by email or text.
